Many thanks to Jennifer of 4Boys 1Mom Lacquer for her lovely swatches. Head over to her blog and see the equally amazing nail art she did with these polishes.

You can also visit Natalie of Over the Top Coat and Jolene of All Glazed Over for more wonderful swatches and St. Patrick's Day nail art.

You can now get the Spring 2014 Collection as it is up for presale until 03/08. It fully releases 03/20. (Full Size | Mini)

And, last but not least, today was the start of my new monthly charity polishes. $2 of every bottle sold will be donated at the end of the month to the charity that inspired the polish. This month the charity is the Wounded Warrior Project. Put Yer Camo On is a camouflage inspired glitter topper. Mini bottles are $6.50 and full size bottles are $10. What could be better than making a donation to a great charity and getting a bottle of polish in return??

Are you on polish overload yet? If you're not and you want to see more Spellbound Nails polishes you can head over to Fairly Charming and see the wonderful swatches Stef recently did of 5 of my glitter toppers!!

Until next time,
♥ Ashley

Pastel Gradient with Born Pretty Store Studs

Hello again! Gradients seem to be the thing for me lately. I think it's the coming of Spring and Summer; I'm just preparing! So I dug out the most pastel colors I own for a pretty and feminine spring gradient — a little early, but it would be perfect for Easter.

Those most pastel colors I own just happened to be Sally Hansen Pink Blink, Petites Color Fever Creme Blue, and Revlon Enchanting. I decided to try a makeup sponge with this gradient instead of my usual eyeshadow applicator. I like the smooth fade between colors, but I didn't like the extra work it took to get the colors built up. I also thought it was beyond time to break out my Born Pretty Store gold metal studs. I received these by mistake with an old order and they were nice enough to let me keep them while also shipping out the ones I did order. It's been too long since I played with these studs. ;)

I'm thinking it's also been too long since I ordered anything from the Born Pretty Store. I forgot how awesome their nail decorations are! And they've come out with so much more since my last order. I'm dying for the hearts ... and the squares ... and the stars ... and ... well, I think you get the idea! I'll definitely be ordering something.

You can use the code MLE10W21 at checkout for 10% off your order if you decide to purchase something from the Born Pretty Store too!

S is for ...

I was really inspired this weekend; I've really missed doing nail art! This is actually a design I sketched up and then realized that it worked perfectly for S in the ABC Challenge.

S is for ... Spring Scene.

You should be expecting this by now, but I used my eyeshadow applicators and Revlon Garden and Sinful Colors Exotic Green to create a leafy texture as a base. The white picket fence came next, hand drawn with a nail art brush, and the flowers were started with a dotting tool and finished with a nail art brush.

With recent temperatures reaching into the single digits, I'm really longing for some flowers!

Be on the lookout tonight for another ABC Challenge mani as I finally get caught up. :)

Hello Spring!

And hello to all you wonderful followers, and happy spring! I became oddly attached to my 'Feeling Blue' mani, so I left doing a Spring mani to the last second.

Forgive me for at least some of the messiness of this design. My beloved nail art brushes are beginning to fray. They are old and I knew this was coming, but I'm still terribly sad to see them go. I've been putting off get new ones, but I think it's finally time.

I had a lovely sun going on my thumb but bumped it while it was still wet and sloughed off half the polish. :(

Today was a lovely day to begin spring in my small town. Slightly cloudy at various points in the day but it reached into the low 70's so I can't complain. I had the blinds and the windows open enjoying the sun and cool breeze. It's turning into a perfect evening as well.

How is the weather in your part of the world?
